I know, silly husbands call and ruin everything! But if he hadn't called I guess I wouldn't have gotten this shot, lol.
Btw- it was REALLY difficult to get the correct exposure at this time of day. I tried metering for the sky and it was way too dark so then I metered for the tractor and the sky was white. Finally I metered to underexpose the tractor a bit and this was the result. It wasn't nearly as easy as I thought it would be to capture the golden tones of the grasses and the sky in the same shot. It was a bit disappointing to realize that the magic hour could be less than magical if I wasn't careful.
We are a couple of homeschooling, tree hugging, free thinking moms. After a long, cold winter in the mid-west we needed a jumpstart! Since we both love photography this 365 day challenge seemed like the perfect cure.
The rules are simple: we will both take and post at least one picture every day for 365 days beginning March 7, 2010.
We are hoping that this challenge will push us to be better photographers both creatively and technically.
Oh, love the color & light! You caught this driving home last night, I take it?! You didn't wait for me to get back! *pout*
