I had NO idea wedding photography would be so physically demanding! I am EXHAUSTED but I also had LOTS of fun. This wedding was so much fun to shoot because a)the bride was beautiful and b) these two just have so much fun together that it's contagious. I am so happy to have been a part of their day and I hope they are as happy with the pictures as I am.

Like Karen, I took over 2000 shots and will be busy all week editing so I don't know how much time I'll have to shoot daily... but wouldn't you rather see wedding pics anyway. ;-)

They are going to be thrilled with your pictures! Great job! Did you use a flash?

  2. Thank you! I swing between content and unhappy with the pics about 100 times a day so hopefully they find a few they like. And thank goodness they have Karen's shots as well!

Nope, no flash. I can't afford a good flash and the on camera flash is just not pretty. I did buy a small diffuser for the reception but didn't care a lot for it.

I have a new speedlight and use it for fill flash. Most of the time I'm happy with it as fill flash. I was just introduced to another mom at our gymnastics club who is a portrait photographer. Like me, she started taking pictures of her kids and but she ended up as a professional portrait photographer. We're going to try to get together and share some hints, and one of the things I'm hoping to get is a few tips for using my speedlight.

I think you have some beautiful pictures. I always like about 10% of my gymnastics pictures - I'm very critical of myself!
