I took lots of shots today with my mom here and even got a few of Dallas playing the guitar, so it was hard to pick! I chose two, one which has my mom in it!
Do you ever think I will feel like I'm getting good at it or I will always feel like I'm just getting lucky? I look for new ways to frame pics, but I never feel like they talk in the books..."I knew I wanted the shot JUST like this" kind of thing.
Oh and last night I dreamt my car was broken into and they stole Dallas guitar and my camera!!! It was horrifying. They left some cheezy camera but took my lens and all I could think about was what I was going to post for the 365 project! LOL
No, that's not lucky- you have to have an eye for it. I think that the 'knowing' they talk about in the books comes with practice. Right now we know enough to be able to frame the shot, find the right angle, etc. to take a good pic. After more practice we'll be able to imagine the pic before we do all that- does that make sense?
We are a couple of homeschooling, tree hugging, free thinking moms. After a long, cold winter in the mid-west we needed a jumpstart! Since we both love photography this 365 day challenge seemed like the perfect cure.
The rules are simple: we will both take and post at least one picture every day for 365 days beginning March 7, 2010.
We are hoping that this challenge will push us to be better photographers both creatively and technically.
You are getting so good at the storytelling shots! I like both of these but the second one really draws the eye in to follow the line of the road.
