Tonight the parade kicked off the annual fair in our little town. For the first time in a long time there were actually floats instead of just hopping in the back of a pick-up. It was HOT but still a pretty good parade.
I don't know if you ever get a chance to come to JC to watch their parades, but comparing them to the Belle Fair floats of yesteryear I always get highly disappointed. I remember spending countless hours preparing our annual 4H float for entry into the Belle Fair and thought that if a little town like Belle could produce such awesome floats then I couldn't wait to see what came out of JC...that was until I went to my first parade in JC. So sad that a city would call a backhoe or a convertible plastered with political campaigns a "float". Glad to hear Belle returned to their beautiful floats and decorations. THAT is how a parade/float should be...in my opinion! haha
We are a couple of homeschooling, tree hugging, free thinking moms. After a long, cold winter in the mid-west we needed a jumpstart! Since we both love photography this 365 day challenge seemed like the perfect cure.
The rules are simple: we will both take and post at least one picture every day for 365 days beginning March 7, 2010.
We are hoping that this challenge will push us to be better photographers both creatively and technically.
